Behind the scenes of paintings

Painting has always been one of the most personal parts of my creative process. While much of my work in branding and art direction focuses on strategy and communication, painting allows me to explore emotion, movement, texture, and storytelling in a more instinctive and expressive way.

Behind every painting, there is a process of experimentation, observation, and emotion. I often begin with loose sketches, color references, or emotional concepts rather than a completely planned composition. Music, photography, travel, fashion, and human expression frequently influence the direction of my work and help shape the atmosphere I want the piece to communicate.

I’m especially drawn to color contrast, visible brushstrokes, texture, and expressive facial features. Instead of aiming for perfection, I focus on creating movement and emotional connection within the piece. Many of my paintings evolve naturally throughout the process, allowing unexpected details and textures to become part of the final artwork.

The studio environment itself also plays an important role in my creative routine. I enjoy documenting the unfinished stages, paint palettes, sketches, and in-between moments because they reveal how the work develops over time. These behind-the-scenes moments help capture the raw and authentic side of the artistic process that often gets hidden behind the final result.

Painting continues to influence the way I approach branding and art direction by encouraging experimentation, emotional storytelling, and a stronger connection between visuals and feeling. Whether creating campaigns or paintings, my goal is always to create work that feels expressive, intentional, and memorable.
